Stanley M BURSTEIN Stanley Burstein

I majored in History at UCLA, receiving my BA in 1963, MA in 1965, and Ph.D. in 1972. From 1968 until I retired in 2004 I was Professor of History at California State University, Los Angeles. I was visiting Professor of History at UCLA in 1977/1978. My research is in Greek history and I am the author, co-author or editor of 17 books including Middle School textbooks in World History now being used in the Montebello Unified School District. My favorite activities are reading, writing and traveling. My wife Dorothy was a teacher, school psychologist, school administrator in Baldwin Park USD. My daughter Miriam is a professor of English in western New York at SUNY Brockport.
