Donna M. CIRCO LaBrie

I married my sweetheart, Al, right after graduation. He served two years in the Army and we lived in Texas. In 1963 we settled in Whittier where we raised our family enjoying all the usual activities of a growing family. I worked a few part time jobs then worked 13 years for Kaiser Permanente. My husband retired in 1997 and we traveled the United States and Canada with a mini-motorhome for three years. In 2000 he died in Paris on our first trip to Europe. I still live in Whittier enjoying life with friends, church community and travel. Life has been good except for the death of my wonderful husband in 2000.

In my junior year, I came to Montebello from Sacred Heart of Mary High School because of the business classes offered. Betty Galvan and Mary Lou Noroski, also, did the same. I have fond memories of friends and teachers at Montebello High School. In my senior year my boyfriend, Al, was attending ELA Jr. College and wasn't supposed to be on campus, but he came a few times a week for lunch on the steps of the auditorium as did Betty's boyfriend, Terry. I still have long time friends from Montebello Judy Curtis, Betty Galvan, Mary Noroski and Faye Cooper. I am looking forward to the reunion.
