Shirley was my friend since the 5th grade at Washington Elementary. She had the best personality and always made me laugh. We were in Rigettes together and she was always a joy to be around. I have missed her alot and will continue to do so.
What a friend Shirley was. We were in Jobs Daughters together at age 12 and friends ever since. Patty Nicola was given a convertable by her Dad and we all went cruizing and eating our tuna fish sandwiches together. She had a hugh heart and everyone was welcome at her house. She had married Eddie and he too went along. When her sister died in her 30's Shirley and Eddie took in all of her kids and raised them as if their own. She later brought her Mom to live with them.
I laughed constantly with her and valued her friendship. She never had anything bad to say about anyone and had a wonderful way of looking on the bright side.
