Cheryl was one of my longest time friends.  We lived on Southside Drive, The Rice's lived on Hendricks, the street behind ours.  We attended Grace Pesbyterian Church together, sent to Montgebello Park Elementary School and Eastmont Jr. High.  She was one of the first in our group to get her driver's license and drove several of us in the neighborhood to school in her black Ford (I think).  We always had a fun time with Phil and Cheryl over the years.  They visited us in Colorado in 2018 or 2019.  I last spoke to Cheryl while on a walk, a few weeks before she passed, we laughed and laughed, she souded just like the old Cheryl, full of life and stories.  I was shocked to get the call from Phil.  May she rest in peace.

I remember Cheryl very well.  My family also attended Grace Presbyterian Church and I remember Cheryl and Carol Sutliff at several youth group meetings.  Cheryl always had a smile and was such a nice person.  I send my condolences to her family.  May she Rest In Peace.

Donald Travis (57)

The Travis family, Lyle, Marion, James, and myself, Donald, were at Grace Presbyterian as well in the time span others have mentioned here. It is always nice to have such a connection mentioned which allows us a path into our memory bank about all the folks from then. We are saddended at this loss as well. My wife, Nora Brodrick Travis MHS '60 believe she recognizes in the picture.
