Gary died of a heart attack in late September, 1999; he was only 58 years old and looking forward to retiring in a few years. Gary was graduated from USC School of Dentistry and had a dental practice in the Eastbluff section of Newport Beach for many years. Gary had 3 children: a daughter, Karin with his first wife Jerre Shelver Glasgow and 2 daughters, Jenny and McKenna with his second wife Gail.

Remember him as Ollie the Oiler when we were Juniors and as a Yell Leader when we were Seniors? He was a good man and is greatly missed.
