Ted W. Cook Born June 28, 1940 Died October 17, 2003
A LONG TIME FRIEND AND ALL ROUND NICE GUY
Ted was retired and living with his wife (Wynn), in Mission Viejo, CA.. Ted was active up to the time he went into surgery for bladder cancer, the surgery revealed he had more advanced cancer. Ted did not recover from the surgery and a few days after having the surgery died.
I first met Ted in the early 1950's, in Monterey Park. We went to Bella Vista, Eastmont and Montebello High together. We were best friends. Ted was almost a year older than me, he rec'd his drivers license and a car almost a full year before the rest of us. After high school we took different paths, but we still always had time to get together for lunch. I think of him often and wish he was still here. May he rest in peace.
I will always remember Ted as the always smiling, eyes twinkling, young guy with freckles that I knew from elementary school at Montebello Park Elementary.
