Joanie will truly be missed by all.  I feel blessed that she and I was able to connect after many years. The comfort of having a friend may be taken away, but not that of having one.  God has truly gained another Angel.

My prayers go out to Jay and family

I am so shocked and saddened to hear about my dear friend Joanie; We always had this special connection between us because my Grandma LaMont took care of Joanie when she was little.  She would always ask about Grandma and for the last 21/2 years I have cared for my aunt (her daughter) until she passed away on June 16th.  The stress would get to me about traveling back and forth to Palo Alto and Joanie was always very calming to me and comforting;  I didn't know that she wasn' t well and her passing has come to me as such a shock. Joanie was such a nice person and such a dear friend and I am going to miss her so much.  We always talked about getting together because she came to Yorba Linda or Anaheim often, but we never did, and now it's to late.  God Speed Joanie and Rest in Peace.  I will miss you with all my heart.

Renee LaMont Hendrick
